An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
